September 15, 2013 An Agape Concordance Here I will try to list all the uses of Agape in the New Testament. Hb 6:9 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak. Ja 1:16 Do not err, my beloved brethren. Ja 1:19 . Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: Ja 2:5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? 1Pt 2:11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; 1Pt 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 2Pt 1:17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 2Pt 3:1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: 2Pt 3:8 . But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 2Pt 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. 2Pt 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 2Pt 3:17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. 1Jn 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 1Jn 3:21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. 1Jn 4:1 . The elder unto the wellbeloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth. 3Jn 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3Jn 1:5 Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers; 3Jn 1:11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God. Ju 1:3 .
